Kendra joined VCA Eagle River in July of 2017, while attending the University of Alaska full-time, and considers Chugiak/Eagle River her home. She went on to obtain her medical assisting certification in 2019 through Charter College. She works primarily as a Medical Assistant, but also works as a technician assistant, and a customer service specialist. She really is a "Jane" of all trades!

Kendra's interests outside of work include horse back riding (primarily hunter/jumper), fishing, gardening, writing, space science, medical science, and exploring off-road.

In March of 2021, Kendra and her husband welcomed her first child, Waylon. She also has three dogs: a Lab mix named Daisy Mae, a Beagle named Princess Leia, and Dalton, who is a mixed breed.

She looks forward to continuing her learning experiences and hands on training with VCA, and enjoys meeting all of the animals and great clients along the way!
