Dr. Lew obtained his undergraduate degree in biology from UC Berkeley and then his doctorate in veterinary medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. Upon receiving his doctorate, Dr. Lew was accepted into a one-year rotating medical and surgical internship at VCA Emergency Animal Hospital and Referral Center in San Diego. He now works in general practice and enjoys the long-term relationships he builds with his patients and clients. Outside of work, Dr. Lew enjoys scuba diving, cooking, traveling and writing. He shares his life with his wife and two dogs, Jax and Tara.
