Veronica V.
Technician Assistant

Veronica was first introduced to the veterinary field at Capeway Animal Hospital in 2014 interning as a student medical assistant while attending Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech High School. She admits to intentionally getting into the Medical Assisting program because she knew she could have the opportunity to intern at a vet hospital, which was Capeway at the time. After graduating high school in 2016, she went on to get an A.S. degree in Veterinary Health Care with honors, involved herself in lots of volunteer work, started working at a vet clinic as a tech, and by chance has been led back to Capeway as a tech!

Growing up she was an animal loving, adventurous, and brave child always outside piquing curiosity with all sorts of animals and critters she could find in her yard. From having little frog friends, making terrariums for snails, caterpillars, pill bugs, and worms. To capturing garter snakes to relocate, having to hand raise litters of bunnies, befriending stray cats, and beyond. If you know her, you know she truly loves all creatures!

Beyond her love for animals she loves being outdoors. You’d find her long boarding, bike riding, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, swimming, camping, or adventuring with her best friends. She relaxes at the end of the day with getting lots of kisses from her sweet bunny named Blossom and lots of cuddles from her sweet kitty named Peaches.
