Kelsey attended Upper Cape Technical School for Culinary Arts, which she felt wasn't really her passion. She volunteered for a summer or two at Champ's Animal Shelter in Wareham while in school, and felt that was more of the direction she wanted to take with her life. She worked at Dunkin for 4 years until 2020, when she became a cat mom to Frankie and Sasha and simultaneously decided she wanted a "big girl job" (as she told Supervisor Wendy in her interview), so she applied at Capeway Animal Hospital. While working as a Client Care Specialist, she started to observe the technicians and knew that's where she belonged. You will now find her in the rooms assisting with examinations and still occasionally covering the front desk.
