Dr. Carow grew up locally in the Hampton Roads area. She completed her undergraduate education at Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 2001. She took some time off from school to travel around the United States, working in outdoor education and wildlife rehabilitation, before graduating from Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Following graduation, she worked in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Carow currently resides in Suffolk with her two children, two dogs and two cats. Outside of work, she coaches her children's soccer team and loves anything active and outdoors.
