Dr. Amata graduated from the University of Edinburgh Scotland's Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.  She returned to her hometown of Kelso, WA where she practiced equine medicine for several years as well as small animal medicine.  She started working at VCA Ocean Beach Animal Hospital in 2016 where she practices medicine, dentistry and surgery for dogs and cats.  When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and all their critters, cooking and working on cars.
