Dr. Mia Woyda grew up in Boulder, Colorado. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Scripps College in California then returned to Colorado State University for her veterinary training. She completed an internship in companion animal surgery and medicine at VCA's flagship hospital, VCA West LA, where she found a passion for emergency medicine. Although California is warmer, colorful Colorado has always felt more like home. Dr. Woyda loves living in Northern Colorado and exploring the mountains with her husband and red Labrador, Huxley. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and camping.
