'Dr. K' has over twenty years experience as a small animal veterinarian, in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Her career has included varied positions from small family owned practices, corporate practices to urgent care facilities, and previously serving as Medical Director at a local college. She has special interests in preventative medicine and general surgery.

Dr. K is a graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up close by the school, spending time there in high school and college, both as an employee and through educational programs. She was part of the Tufts Equine Lung Function research team while completing her undergraduate degree in Biology from WPI.

Dr. K always knew she wanted to become a veterinarian. She inherited her love of animals from her maternal grandmother, who always had too many cats. In her free time, she enjoys day trips and being outdoors in New England with her husband and kids, and loves to travel.
