Dr. Dave is a Southern California native. He started his schooling at The University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, where he attained an undergraduate degree in Veterinary Science/Microbiology in 2000. He then went on to veterinary school at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO, and graduated in 2004. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Dave completed a one-year internship at a large referral hospital in Los Angeles, CA, which consisted of intense training in medicine, surgery, and emergency care. He takes special interest in the Human-Animal Bond and was on the American Veterinary Medical Association’s committee to the Human-Animal Bond. Dr. Dave is also an avid surfer. When he is not caring for your pets, you are likely to find him with his wife, two sons, and dog at a surf break anywhere from Huntington Beach down to San Onofre.
