Our Veterinary Services

In addition to the traditional services you'd expect from a veterinary hospital, we offer pets and pet parents a selection of age specific Wellness Membership Plans (CareClub) and/or one time Best-Care-Packages. County Animal Clinic offers specialized veterinary services such as surgeries, digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasonography and endoscopy.

We are committed to the highest standards and up-to-date protocols for preventive veterinary medicine. When your pet becomes ill or sustains an injury, we address the problem with a full range of diagnostic, medical, surgical, and therapeutic services.

If you are interested in a service not listed, please ask us. If we don't already offer it, we can refer you to one of our sister animal hospitals in the area or one of our veterinary specialty hospitals.

Veterinary Services at County Animal Clinic:

  • Wellness Care: comprehensive exams, vaccinations, parasite control, and behavioral advice
  • Surgery: spay and neuter services, as well as soft-tissue and orthopedic procedures
  • Diagnostic and Lab Testing: reference laboratory blood testing, heartworm and intestinal parasite screening, blood pressure monitoring, in-house laboratory capabilities, EKG, radiology, and ultrasound
  • Advanced Radiology: state-of-the-art digital imaging to greatly aid diagnoses and hasten appropriate treatment
  • Pet Dentistry: routine preventive care, digital dental radiography, and advanced procedures for patients with dental disease
  • Nutritional Counseling: an important and often overlooked component of pet health
  • Pet Arthritis and Pain Management: important for keeping senior pets active and comfortable and for post-surgical patients
  • Dermatology and Itch Management: allergies affect many pets and is one of the top reasons patients visit their vet. Our veterinarians will perform a detailed history, physical examination and basic medical diagnostics in order to diagnose and treat many skin ailments. Common diagnostics performed include skin scrapings, RX Diet trials, Wood's Lamp examination, hair (fungal) culture, and punch biopsies.
  • End-of-Life Care: life-sustaining care and, when appropriate, compassionate euthanasia

County Animal Clinic is dedicated to offering our clients and patients high-quality and compassionate veterinary care. Call us today to schedule an appointment at (914) 779-5000.
