Our hospital offers ultrasound (sonogram) examinations as a non-invasive diagnostic procedure to evaluate your pet's internal organs. Ultrasound can be used to examine the abdominal organs, reproductive organs, eyes and heart. Ultrasound is non-invasive and well tolerated by most pets. In most cases, ultrasound is relatively brief and your pet is able to go home the very same day.
Dr. Patrick Hopper is a board-certified internal medicine specialist, who has been performing abdominal ultrasounds, biopsies and endoscopic examinations at County Animal Clinic for over 15 years! He graduated from the University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and specializes in internal medicine. He brings an immense wealth of experience and acumen to our hospital, working with and through your pet's primary veterinarian. This allows us to offer these specialty services for our patients in a familiar setting, with the team your pet already knows!
Please understand that pets in for this service will need to spend a few hours in our care. Please call for more information.
