Dr. Emily Durning grew up in New York, completed her Bachelor's in Animal Science from the University of Rhode Island and then attended veterinary school at the University College Dublin in Ireland.  After school, she moved to the Lakes Region and joined the VCA team in the summer of 2021. Dr. Durning is still exploring all the avenues of veterinary medicine to figure out her favorite. She thoroughly enjoys interacting with our clients and building a good relationship with them and their furry friends. When she is not working, Dr. Durning is spending time with her husband and two dogs, traveling to visit family all over the Northeast, and exploring all that New Hampshire has to offer. She hopes to get back into skiing in the winters and do more kayaking on the lakes in the summer
