A true Kansas farm girl at heart, Dr. Schobert-Nichols is a graduate of Kansas State University, where she completed both a B.S. in Animal Science and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.  She has been a member of our team since September of 2009. Prior to practicing in Arizona, she was also a Medical Director and Associate Veterinarian in Las Vegas, NV for 9 ½ years.  She considers the staff at VCA Apache Animal Hospital her extended family and feels privileged to spend her time caring for animals with such a dedicated team.   

Her special interests are internal medicine, dentistry and soft tissue surgery. Her furry family includes: two Doberman Pinschers; Kona (13 years) and Zion (5 years), three cats; Pele, Sleepy Seven and Nimbus.  In her free time she loves spending time with her family and friends, exploring outdoors, traveling, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, kayaking, mountain biking and rock climbing
