Dr. Jessica Bertrand was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. She grew up with a menagerie of pets that ranged from chinchillas to horses. Dr. Bertrand studied Biology at the University of Nevada - Reno where she studied abroad in Cork, Ireland which influenced her choices when she applied to Veterinary schools and accepted the University College of Dublin. After many years of green grass and rain, she is happy for a change of scenery and looks forward to enjoying the Arizona sunshine. She is joined from Ireland by her lion head rabbit Pi.
