After graduating from the Bel-Rae Institute of Animal Technology in March of 2004, Amy joined the VCA Brentwood team later that year in May. When asked about working at Brentwood for so long, Amy said, "I continue to work at VCA Brentwood because I love my job. I enjoy meeting new clients and pets, educating clients and in turn learning new things from our clients. This field is ever changing and the new challenges keep me on my toes."

As a child in a military family, Amy grew up in cities throughout the country and overseas before graduating from Smithfield High School. She loves traveling and is an avid reader. She and her husband currently reside in Portsmouth with their pit bull, two border collies, two cats and two cockatiels.
