Dr. Nikki Werner is a Michigan native. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Michigan State University and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University. After veterinary school, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners. After spending some time working in emergency medicine, she joined the team at VCA Clinton Township. She enjoys veterinary behavior and has interests in preventative and hospice care.
Dr. Werner is owned by 2 dogs, an eyeless Labradoodle named Seymour and a goofy Labrador named Stu, and 3 cats, Princess Isabelle, Ramone, and Lou. Outside of work, Dr. Werner enjoys spending time on Lake St. Clair, watching Spartan Football, reading and re-reading Harry Potter, and being with her family.
