Dr. Nikki Werner is a Michigan native who earned her bachelor of science degree in zoology from Michigan State University before obtaining her doctor of veterinary medicine from Iowa State University. Following veterinary school, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at BluePearl Veterinary Partners. After gaining experience in emergency medicine, she joined the team at VCA Clinton Township. Dr. Werner has a strong passion for diagnostic imaging—particularly ultrasound—as well as preventative care.
At home, Dr. Werner shares her life with three beloved dogs: Seymour, a resilient Labradoodle without sight, Stu, a fun-loving Labrador, and Sprout, a spunky little mixed breed dog. She also has two cherished cats: Mirabelle and Lou. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys spending time on Lake St. Clair, cheering on Spartan Football, revisiting the world of Harry Potter, and making memories with her family.
