Dr. Julie Hanlon graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. She returned to Alaska and began working at Four Paws Animal Hospital. When VCA merged with Four Paws and built a new clinic in 2003 Dr. Hanlon joined the VCA team.

Dr. Hanlon's interests include internal medicine, oncology and emergency medicine.

She lives with her husband, Stewart, three beautiful daughters, Bernese Mountain Dog Holly, and three cats Stinky, Simba and Rudy. In her free time she likes camping, hiking, swimming, traveling and going to ACES hockey games.
