Jess has been a team member with VCA Alaska Pet Care since 2021. She enjoys everything about her job; from handling and comforting animals, to monitoring anesthesia, and conducting laboratory procedures. Jess has a goal every day to find purpose and joy in her work and to always keep learning. Jess hopes to see the practice grow and provide specialty services while also providing the highest quality of care and medicine to our patients. A fun fact about Jess is she graduated with a BFA degree and worked as a graphic designer before starting a family and becoming a stay-at-home/homeschooling parent of four (human) kids. Jess is currently finishing up an AS degree in Veterinary Technology.
