Cheyenne began working with animals in 2018 at a small-town animal shelter in Colorado. Since then, she has continued her veterinary journey, working as a veterinary assistant in Texas and later in Montana.
In 2025, Cheyenne and her husband, along with their two children, three dogs, a cat, three snakes, and a gecko, made the long, beautiful drive from Montana to Alaska, finally making their dream of calling the great state of Alaska home a reality.
Cheyenne joined the VCA Eagle River team in July 2025 and has been a wonderful addition to the hospital. With a love for animals of all kinds, she is thrilled that her role as a veterinary assistant allows her to help as many of them as possible every day.
