Kathryn Hailer, DVM, a native of Trenton, MI earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Albion College and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University. After graduation, she moved to California. She worked in several small animal hospitals and at the Peninsula Humane Society in San Mateo. The Midwest called her back home though. She moved to Illinois and worked for 5 years at the Animal Welfare League. She joined the current practice in 1989 and enjoys all aspects of her job. Her special interests include pediatrics/geriatrics, behavior medicine, surgery, feline medicine, and working with rescue groups.
