Dr. Hovet graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine with a DVM in 2009. She started her career as a mixed-animal veterinarian in rural Minnesota, but has focused on small animal medicine over the past several years.

Of special interest to Dr. Hovet is preventive care to help maintain our family member's health and quality of life for as long as possible.This includes regular dental care, routine exams, and being a partner with clients to ensure the best possible care for their pets.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family (two cats, one horse, two kids, and one husband), cross-stitching, trail riding, reading and cooking.
