Dr. Yu graduated from Tufts University and joined the VCA family in 2013. Even though she went to school on the east coast, her heart has always been in the Midwest and she is happy to be returning home to Minnesota this year. She loves musical theater, dance, cooking, travelling and playing flag football. Go Twins!

I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My parents say since about 4 yrs old when dad brought home our 1st rescue dog.

The years have flown by and it has now been 25 years since I have joined VCA.  I have worked in all departments learning hands on and have now been in management for about 15 years.

In my free time I enjoy working with wood such as Scroll sawing, wood turning, gardening and riding my bike to work.

I have a 2 year old cat named Thomas and waiting for my next rescue dog to adopt me.
