Dr. Cathy Rice is originally from Savannah, Georgia. She earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University. Dr. Rice has practiced full time as a small animal veterinarian in the Birmingham metro area since 2003.

Dr. Rice enjoys the relationships she develops with her patients and clients and taking the time to educate people on how to best care for their pets. Special areas of interest include preventative care and internal medicine.

Outside of the office, Dr. Rice shares her home with her husband (Andrew), three kids (Tucker, Liam, and Nora Cate), and a Boston Terrier (Minnie Mouse). With three active kids, the Rice family stays busy with youth sports and activities. When able to get away, the family enjoys planning vacations and travel.
