Dr. Jessica Nielsen majored in biochemistry at Utah State prior to attending veterinary school at Washington state University. Despite attending school in Washington, she is a true Aggie and was excited to return to Utah and join the VCA Mountain View Animal Hospital team. In her practice, Dr. Nielsen's interests include surgery, dentistry, rehabilitation, and strengthening the human animal bond.

In her free time, Dr. Nielsen enjoys amateur rock climbing, boating and wake surfing, snow skiing, hiking and reading. At home, she spends time with her family and her rescued mixed breed dog Libby.
