Dr. Jessica Nielsen is a committed veterinarian excited to provide personalized care for her patients and clients. She attended Utah State University with a major in Biochemistry before earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. She became a member of the VCA Mountain View Animal Hospital team in 2018 and loves building long-term relationships with pets and clients. Professionally, Dr. Nielsen began developing interests in surgery and dentistry, and in 2024, began expanding her focus on feline medicine, becoming trained in I-131 therapy to continue offering treatment at our facility.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Nielsen enjoys snow skiing, hiking, swimming and reading. But she enjoys any activity spent with her husband Tyler, and their pets—a cat named Lilly and two dogs, Peggy and Millie.
