Jessica grew up in Central Illinois and relocated to Ohio after high school. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Psychology. She is also a graduate of Columbus State Community College with a degree in Veterinary Technology.

Jessica is a Registered Veterinary Technician and has worked in the veterinary field for the past 13 years, and has been at Northwood since 2012. 

Jessica lives in Urbana with her husband Toby and has 3 adult children. Her family also includes a menagerie of animals: 2 dogs (Halo and Benelli); 5 cats (Re, Phinn, Cal, Rigby and Tilly); a goat (Bonnie); 2 chickens; and 3 thoroughbred horses (Smoke'm Charlie, Taurus C, and Bug-on-Bye).
