Dr. Unger is a graduate of the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and spent her clinical year at Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine in Oregon. She was a professional horse trainer for many years in Ventura County before pursuing her goal to become a veterinarian.

When not working, Dr. Unger can likely be found training her young quarter horse, Angus, to run barrels, or hiking with her Australian Shepherds, Noah and Finn. She also enjoys wine tasting and traveling to new wineries in Napa Valley.

Dr. Unger is excited to continue her career, as an associate veterinarian, here with us at VCA Westlake. Dr. Unger loves all aspects of veterinary medicine and can't wait to meet her new clients and their pets!
