We are located in Anchorage, on the land of the Dena'ina ełnena people. All staff members are either Fear Free Certified professionals or are currently training to be so. Their thorough knowledge of the latest procedures and medications ensures that all our patients receive the best care in the most stress-free environment we can possibly create.
At VCA Bering Sea, our team of capable staff will do everything they can to ensure your questions and concerns are heard and addressed. We truly care about your pet and want you to have a positive experience and the knowledge that your pet has a team of people working to make sure they are as healthy as possible. We strive to be connected to you and to each other. We foster a culture of mutual respect and lightheartedness among our staff members and hope to extend the very same to you.
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) sets the standard for quality veterinary care for companion animals. As an accredited hospital, we voluntarily uphold the Association's high standards in 18 different areas and are routinely evaluated on over 900 different standards of veterinary care. Not all animal hospitals are accredited, and we are proud to be amongst only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals that hold this honor.
We harness the scale and strength of our global network while acknowledging each individual's contribution. We work locally to improve the lives of all who interact with our brand.
