Dr. Uvun Ramachandran is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and he completed his clinical year training at Purdue University. He completed a rotating specialty internship at VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists in Portland, Oregon, before beginning his career at VCA Sheridan Animal Hospital in Buffalo, New York. He relocated to Anchorage, Alaska in 2023, practicing at VCA Alpine Animal Hospital before joining VCA Bering Sea Animal Hospital in June 2026.
Dr. Ramachandran's clinical interests include pain management and multimodal analgesia, internal medicine and chronic disease management, and soft tissue and orthopedic surgery — including TPLO, which he recently completed advanced training in. He is RECOVER certified for emergency and critical care and Fear Free certified, and is a member of the Alaska Veterinary Medical Association. He is equally passionate about client education and improving clinic workflows to support better patient care.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Ramachandran enjoys cooking, reading, playing violin with local Anchorage music groups, and spending time outdoors. He lives in Anchorage with his partner, Dr. Eilea Delgadillo — also a veterinarian on the Bering Sea team — along with his cat, Lucy, and dogs, Pi and Raichu.
