Dr. Shelby Crites graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She spent the first eight years of her career in Sandpoint, Idaho along the beautiful shores of Lake Pend Oreille. Dr. Crites and her husband visited Alaska in winter of 2023 and immediately decided to relocate to this magical place. She is certified in both veterinary acupuncture and canine rehabilitation and enjoys incorporating these modalities into her daily practice. She has a menagerie of seven dogs who keep her and her husband on their toes. In her free time she enjoys designing and manufacturing jewelry and playing board games.
