Dr. Lyons is a Pennsylvania native who completed her undergraduate degree at Saint Francis University. She earned her master’s degree in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Georgia and remained at UGA to earn her veterinary degree. Dr. Lyons completed a small animal rotating internship at Dogs and Cats Veterinary Referral and ER in Maryland. Upon completion of her internship, Dr. Lyons remained at DCVR as the Liaison to Internal Medicine service. Her special interests include infectious diseases, primary intestinal diseases and liver disease. In her free time, Dr. Lyons enjoys outdoor activities, exercising and spending time with her German Shorthair Pointer (Birdie).
