Dr. Allen has been with VCA Chanhassen Animal Hospital since 2017. He has practiced in the communities of Chaska, Chanhassen and Eden Prairie since 2004. He is a 1988 graduate of the Ohio State University.

Dr. Allen has special interests in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Allen has extensive experience in canine and feline emergency medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Allen enjoys spending time with his family of six, kayaking, running and cooking. Dr. Allen has a Shepherd Labrador mix named Jasper and two Burmese cats named Hershey and Cocoa.
