Dr. Celia Megdal obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree as a member of Phi Zeta National Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine from University of California, Davis in 2020. While earning her DVM, Dr. Megdal completed Veterinary Externships at Georgia Aquarium, Tampa's Lowery Park Zoo, The Marine Mammal Center and Aquarium of the Pacific. 

Prior to UC Davis, Dr. Megdal graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience with a focus in Animal Cognition. 

Dr. Megdal's special interests include senior wellness care, ophthalmology and surgery. 

In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors with her husband, Jake, and little terrier, Glitch, as well as crafting and scuba diving.
