How soon do lab results get completed?
Depending on the test being done, lab results can be completed within minutes of the sample being brought into our lab. For more advanced testing, we maintain a close relationship with an area laboratory that provides us with lab results usually within one business day.
Why do healthy pets need lab tests?
In the wild, animals hide their illnesses or injuries so they do not attract predators. Pets are able to hide the subtle signs of illness from their owners exceptionally well. Regular blood tests and laboratory screening is the best way for our veterinarians to monitor a pet’s condition and detect changes early so disease can be caught and successfully treated.
