In-House Pharmacy

Desert Inn Animal Hospital offers a complete in-house veterinary pharmacy for our clients. In addition to carrying prescription medications, our licensed pharmacy technician can complete custom orders, including flavoring many medications to ease the process of administering them.

Clients can fill prescriptions in person or can request refill orders by calling our pharmacy at (702) 732-2210. All refill requests are reviewed during normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and require a 24-hour notice to be filled.

In addition to prescription medications, our pharmacy carries over-the-counter products, including Desert Inn Animal Hospital’s own line of:

• Nutritional supplements
• Pet dental care products
• Pet shampoos

WARNING: It is very important that you DO NOT self-medicate your pet (giving your pet medication without the supervision of a veterinarian). Even though some medications that pets take might be the same type that people take, the dosages vary and can become toxic if given in too high of a dose.

Without knowing the correct dosage that your pet should take, you should NEVER give your pet your medication or that of your family or friends, including medications prescribed to other pets.

Doing so may be fatal to your beloved pet even though you’re trying to help.
