Dr. Briar Visser joined the team at VCA Devotion in 2021. Dr. Visser is a lifelong California native. She graduated from University of California Davis in 2000. She did her veterinary internship in Sacramento before moving to Sonoma County in 2002.

Dr. Visser enjoys spending time with her Labrador retriever- Australian cattle dog cross named Pepper, two amazing cats ("Dot" and "Rugie") and an off the track thoroughbred named Blazer. Dr Visser is trained in veterinary acupuncture and in her spare time she enjoys riding her horse, hiking, camping, gardening, travel, and volunteering at spay/neuter clinics in underserved communities.
