Dr. Timko was born and raised only a few minutes from VCA Duncan Manor Animal Hospital in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. He received his B.S. in Animal Bioscience from Pennsylvania State University in 2009, and is a 2014 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, Dr. Timko completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Carolina Veterinary Specialists located in Greensboro, NC. Outside the hospital, Dr. Timko enjoys time with his wife (Stephanie), son (Miles), three dogs (Duke, Jada, Gia) and one cat (Cruizer). As a family we enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, camping and other outdoor activities.
