Dr. Rachel Alipui grew up in Northern New Jersey. She completed her BS in Animal Science from Cornell University. She then went on to do gene therapy research at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. In 2008, Dr. Alipui received her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University. Shortly before joining the team at VCA Iselin Animal Hospital, Dr. Alipui worked in small animal practice in Missouri, as well as in Ithaca, New York. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, cooking, listening to NPR radio, and spending time with her husband, three children and the hospital cat, Tawny.
