Dr. O'Neal was born and raised in Minnesota. He received his Bachelor's degree in Biology from New York University (NYU) in 2011. Dr. O'Neal was part of the inaugural class of Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine, the first and veterinary college in Arizona, where he received his DVM. During veterinary school he was President of the Veterinary Internal Medicine Club and Treasurer of the Veterinary Surgery Club. Dr. O'Neal is fascinated by all aspects of veterinary medicine, however, he has a particular interest in surgery, preventative care, geriatric medicine, and oncology.

Dr. O'Neal is currently engaged to his best friend Lauren, and is looking forward to getting married by an Elvis impersonator in Las Vegas early next year. His other interests include enjoying the natural splendor that Arizona has to offer, travel (both road trips and international travel), Netflix, and the occasional video game. He also enjoys sports, particularly baseball (Go Twins!). He is new to the area and is looking forward to getting to know the community and help care for your fur family members.
