Dr. Branner joined the VCA Old Marple team in January 2022 as Medical Director of the Emergency Department. She holds more than 20 years of experience in Emergency & Critical Care medicine. Dr. Branner earned both a bachelor's degree in Biology and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University in Alabama. After graduation, she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She then went on to complete a residency in emergency and critical care at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in Massachusetts. In her leisure time, Dr. Branner enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys walking, reading, and entertaining family and friends.
