Dr. Hinz graduated from Purdue University in May, 2004. She began working at the hospital a few months later and has been with us ever since! Dr. Hinz stepped into the role of medical director in February 2021. Her veterinary interests are in feline medicine, preventative medicine, and abdominal ultrasound.
Outside the hospital she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and doing things such as hiking and geocaching. She also enjoys watching Purdue football and basketball. Her hobbies are cross-stitching, reading, going to movies, and learning new things. She is married to Matt and has two girls named Kaelyn and Mikayla. At home she has three cats named Chewy, Rey, and Skye. She also has a German Shorthair Pointer named Bella.
