Dr. Funaro joined the VCA Valley team in June 2013. She received her bachelor's degree in animal science at the University of Vermont and then completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota. While at Minnesota, she enjoyed participating in spay/neuter clinics for impoverished communities in Central America. Besides her passion for veterinary medicine, Dr. Funaro loves spending her free time outdoors running, biking, skiing and hiking.
