Team Spotlight
Dr. Willis came to VCA in 2007 starting at our sister hospital in Vernon. After many years as an accountant she decided to take her life in a new direction by pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine and graduated from University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). She has three adopted dogs named Vina, Rex, and Cricket and an adopted cat named Abbey. She spends her free time playing tennis, reading, and painting.
Kate has been with VCA since 2007. Before joining us here at Valley, she worked at the Walt Disney World Resort as part of their College Program. Kate is our resident Disney expert! She graduated in 2009 from Mount Ida College with a bachelor's degree in veterinary technology, received her CVT certification in 2011, and is now our technician supervisor. Kate enjoys spending time with her family and three cats, Sunny, Artie, and Chuck.
