Doctor Allison Shea joined the VCA Valley team in May 2019 as a veterinary assistant while finishing veterinary school and moved to her new position as a veterinarian in June 2022. She received her bachelor's with honors in Animal Science from the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2018. Allison went on to Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in May of 2022 fulfilling her lifelong goal. Her professional interests include dental care, ultrasound, surgery and internal medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. Shea loves spending time with her family, baking and hiking with her dogs, Daisy and Junior.
