Dr. Annemarie Schiavone was born in Red Bank and grew up in Tinton Falls, NJ. She attended Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania where she graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology. After graduating college, she worked full time as a veterinary assistant at a small animal specialty hospital in New Jersey. Soon after, she attended the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in North Grafton, Massachusetts and graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

In her free time, Dr. Schiavone enjoys summer visits to the beach, gardening, baking, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Schiavone is very excited to join the VCA Freehold Animal Hospital team!
