Dr. Land grew up in Chester County in southeastern Pennsylvania. She attended Cornell University where she completed her Bachelor of Science with a major in Natural Resources. After graduating from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, she completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Veterinary Referral and Emergency Clinic in Norwalk, CT. Dr. Land then worked in a small animal practice on Manhattan's Upper West Side for three years before relocating to New Jersey and joining the Freehold Animal Hospital team as an associate veterinarian in August 2005. She enjoys doing surgery and loves the relationships she has developed with her many clients over the last 20 years. She currently resides in Freehold with her husband, two sons, two cats and one dog. She is an avid recreational scuba diver and enjoys gardening and bird watching. A highlight of her pre-veterinary life was the year she spent in Nevada and New Mexico studying migratory birds of prey.
