Dr. Soyang Bak was born and raised in South Korea, where she also attended veterinary school and discovered her passion for caring for animals. After graduating, she moved to the United States and spent four years practicing small animal medicine in Seattle, Washington. She later became a practice owner in Dallas, Texas, an experience that helped shape her growth as both a veterinarian and a leader.
Throughout her career, Dr. Bak has developed a special interest in dentistry and soft tissue surgery, and she loves helping pets feel better through attentive, thoughtful care. She believes in clear communication, positivity, and treating every patient as if they were her own.
Dr. Bak recently moved to Hawaiʻi and is excited to embrace more outdoor adventures and a balanced, joyful lifestyle. She shares her life with her rescued dog, Chopper—named after her favorite One Piece character—who keeps her smiling every day.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Bak enjoys learning new skills, exploring new places, and trying all kinds of new foods. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients and their pets and feels grateful to be part of their journey toward happy, healthy lives.
