Associate Veterinarian
DVM
Dr. Sheryl Davidson was born in Houston, Texas, then lived in Massachusetts and California before her family settled in Northern Virginia. She's a graduate of James Madison High School in Vienna, VA. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Virginia Tech in 1992 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (VA Tech) in 1996, fulfilling her lifetime dream of becoming a veterinarian.
She worked at Ridge Lake Animal Hospital in Woodbridge from June 1996 to June 1999 then Countryside Animal Clinic in Sterling from June 1999 to January 2017.
Her professional interests include geriatric medicine, pain management, dentistry and client education. She enjoys community services including children's tours of the hospital practice.
In her spare time Dr. Davidson enjoys spending time with her husband Charles, their children Liam and Clare, their kitty Beatrix, their hermit crabs and latest addition, their dog Fiona. She is an avid VA Tech (go Hokies!) and Redskins (go 'Skins!) football fan, and Nationals (go Nats!) baseball fan. One day she hopes to find the time to return to playing co-ed softball.
Dr. Davidson is dedicated to the idea of compassionate care and respect to the pets, their families, and the support team who help deliver quality medicine.
