Dr. Paul McCartin grew up on Cape Cod and graduated from Barnstable High School in 1982. He graduated with a degree in biology from the University of Vermont in 1986, and with a veterinary degree from Tufts University in 1992. After completing an internship, he was a senior medicine clinician and taught interns at VCA South Shore, a referral and specialty clinic in Weymouth, MA. In 1997 he moved back to Cape Cod to practice at Hyannis Animal Hospital. Dr. McCartin’s special interests include ultrasound, oncology, and orthopedic surgery. In his spare time Dr. McCartin enjoys spending time with his family and fishing, coaching soccer and baseball, and playing the guitar (poorly).
