She worked as a veterinary assistant in Orange County and Los Angeles while applying to vet school. Dr Z attended vet school at the University of California, Davis. She is excited to be back in Southern California with her husband and three cats, Aloha, Kali and Halea. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors camping and hiking or trying a new beer at a local brewery.
