Dr. Katie Bennett is an Orange County native who completed her undergraduate education at the University of California-San Diego. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. She was initiated into the Phi Zeta veterinary honor society in 2013.
Dr. Bennett has worked in the veterinary field for more than 15 years, starting her career as a kennel attendant in high school. She has always enjoyed small animal medicine because of the strong bond she is able to build with her patients and their loving families.
Her medical interests include radiology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She loves to travel internationally and attend continuing education seminars in far off places like the Galapagos Islands and Costa Rica.
In her free time, Dr. Bennett enjoys attending yoga classes and painting the sand and surf. She can often be found playing at local south Orange County beaches with her beloved Border Collie, Skye, or doting on her one-eyed mischievous kitty, Brody.
